Multicultural Outreach Initiative

While part of the Design and Innovation Group at MSKCC, I worked with clinical and community stakeholders to help design a new initiative intended to help the hospital diversify it's patient population over time and increase potential new patient's access and exposure to MSKCC community health services.

After extensive user-research, and synthesis of our findings, we ultimately proposed:

A network of ongoing partnerships with trusted local organizations designed to continuously learn how best to engage and serve the Hispanic population, while building brand loyalty over time.

We were able to run a short pilot of the service over the course of 3 months and were pleased to see a positive response from both clinical and community participants. After the success of this initial pilot, the hospital has decided to continue the program with the existing community partners and scale up to include a second partner organization.
